HAPPY NEW YEAR

As we rest up from the holidays, traveling and the stress, to all a very Happy New Year.

Rest up for 2007; pshew, makes me tired simply thinking about the upcoming election year.

The only question I have is: Are there going to be real issues, or are the people now in office going to be the real issues? Let us ponder on that thought as we anxiously await the filing date of all hopeful politicos!

PEACE ! ! !

so who are you backing for mayor?

Who are our choices? Garner and England are having a poll done to see which one is going to run. Hubbard hasn't ruled himself out...field is wide open.

How will you answer the survey amongst Democrats -- Garner or England?

It's just getting started. May the best PERSON win...

Goldberg vs. Price who you backing?

Goldberg & I have already spoken about this issue, as have Mr. Price and my husband and I. THEY know who I am supporting and I just really believe it's truly no one else's business, except theirs' (and they know) who we are supporting. You may ask Mr. Goldberg; who knows, he may tell you.

How about you?

Glad you asked.

Given that Price's tenure has been a catastrophe, anyone but him sounds appropriate.

But it's more interesting to contemplate what might happen if a progressive declared for the Democratic primary and split the vote three ways (again). That would hurt Maury, I'd think, as the CM would get the "scared of the future and my own shadow" vote either way, but a third candidate would accordingly split the "of course, we can succeed" vote.

Wonder who the GOP would run in the fall?

Really have no clue as to whom the GOP might put up -- Piercey, Jr.?
Kevin Zurschmeide seems like an alright guy, but he (like some still) have a lot to learn...

We hear rumored Tom Cannon is running, for either the 3rd or at-Large; we hear Eli Beardsley (D?) could be running for the 3rd.

Maury doesn't have the money to make a city-wide race. Simply disagree with you about your comments towards Mr. Price; but to each his own. We can disagree without being disagreeable, I hope.

Happy New Year!

you backing Doug England?

I'll let that comment slide...don't think "anyone" has officially announced yet, except perhaps Garner.

All Dems are waiting on an important "telephone survey".

How about you?
